POSITION DESCRIPTION TITLE:
Operations/Supply Chain Management Specialist Management Sciences for Health (MSH) saves lives and improves health by helping public and private organizations throughout the world to effectively manage people, medicines, money, and information. MSH is seeking candidates for an upcoming USAID-funded malaria control project in the DRC. The purpose of the USAID/DRC President’s Malaria Initiative (PMI) Expansion Project is to increase coverage and use of key life‐saving malaria interventions in support of the DRC’s National Malaria Control Program (NMCP). This project will complement the existing USAID/DRC Integrated Health Project (IHP) and other donor‐supported malaria programs. This position is contingent upon project award. OVERALL
RESPONSIBILITIES: SPECIFIC
RESPONSIBILITIES QUALIFICATIONS: - Master’s degree in business management or a related advanced degree relevant to supply chain management and logistics. - Minimum of five years of demonstrated experience in operations and/or supply management. - Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and presentation skills. - Possess advanced language proficiency level (LPL) of 4/4 English and French communication (oral and written) skills. - Willingness to locate in Kinshasa and to travel within DRC required.
